Erza's chest armor in progress!

Still working on this, but thought I'd share a picture of my progress so far. To get a tight fight around my body, plastic wrap and masking tape were really essential! And the gem looks awesome on the armor already (not attached yet, since I'll attach the gem after I paint everything). Had to cut out the individual tape pieces, transfer them into craft foam, then worbla... and the result so far!
I still need to make the bottom portion that wraps around my waist. Going to use D rings, and velcro to attach that to the main part. I will make them two separate pieces from each other.
